![]() ![]() ![]() Not to mention constantly changing the res can burn out a display.Īutodesk needs to set the UI and text size to be per window or to scale properly per display. I cannot keep changing the 4k display res down to 2k just for maya when I use a dozen different applications that don’t require it. I must slow down and really concentrate and be precise to do anything. Not only can I not read the UI but the mouse curser scales down to a pinpoint and the UI hit boxes is too small. Now with a 4k display, the UI is microscopic and completely unusable. In the past on my old Cintiq, the UI on the secondary display has been slightly larger than my primary and that was fine. ![]() I have done this for over a decade and am not only very used to it and depend on it, but it helps me keep my workflow very fast to not be opening and closing windows and menus all the time and to always reflexively know where something is without having to look. I have the main Maya UI on my primary and I have tear off UI/shelves/windows on my secondary so I can always have certain information and tools available. I have just swapped my secondary display from a decade old Cintiq 21 UX which was a 1k display to a brand new a Cintiq Pro 24 which is 4K display. ![]()
